Re: New Open Source MultiCart released

MADrigal, Clockmeister and I wondered about that too. As all the files are there in KiCAD, that's an easy change to make. Next time I do an order I might try a "byteswapped" version and just do some experimenting. This was my main reason for the CC-BY-SA license we released it under. People can just...

Re: New Open Source MultiCart released

Rastervision, thanks for sharing that. I'll do a revision with "THIS SIDE UP" on it shortly. Should be a quick fix :-)
Seeing Clockmeister and my work used like this... It makes me very happy.
I've also designed a shell for it but I'm a bit limited by my lack of actual 3D printer.

New Open Source MultiCart released

Hey All, Clockmeister and I are pleased to announce our latest version of the venerable MultiCart idea. https://ilike8bits.wordpress.com/2020/10/06/introducing-the-open-source-multicart-for-the-creativision-system/ This one is released as a CC-SA-BY license so remixes can easily be done. (Also if yo...

Re: Hello from Austria

Hi Gandi12
Welcome aboard. Good to see people getting back into the scene.

I'm in the late testing stage (waiting on some components to be delivered) on a new MultiRom cartridge that will be open sourced. There will probably be some available for purchase once it's finished as well.

Cheers!

Re: Shameless self promotion on my Creativision post on my Blog

Unfortunately I had to reverse the Composite mod, for now as it lead to instability. I'll be trying a slightly different mod next weekend with luck. (Symptoms suggested the mod was generating power issues. I was seeing strange colour effects and even blocks or corruption. I'll try completely removin...

Shameless self promotion on my Creativision post on my Blog

(If anyone objects to this blog post, let me know and I'll take it down) So now I finally have a Creativision, I've been working in and around and on it. Pretty much all my Creativision work I've just finished documenting on my blog here: https://ilike8bits.wordpress.com/2020/09/15/creativision-work...

Re: Can someone with original CreatiVision hardware assist the MAME/MESS project in conducting some tests?

BTW, I noticed today that the original MameTesters bug has been closed as they've added 16 way support. D'oh! I was so close to having the setup to test their code myself!

Re: Composite AV output planned!

Dezombiefying this thread, I Composite modded my Dick Smith Wizzard. Wow! What a difference! I went for a reversible design. I have a 700319 motherboard. I disconnected the RF cable from RF Modulator. I desoldered the +12V into the Modulator, to remove it as a source of interference. I cut a thin RC...
