Re: Replacement rear panel for AV mod

Hi, this is so cool! I will print one for my console too... Thanks for sharing! What kind of composite mod will you use? (simply grab the signals before the modulator or use a transistor or...) Cheers, TOM:0) PS: I got the best picture with the MSX RGB Mod - Someday i would love to see a Creativisi...

Replacement rear panel for AV mod

I've started looking at doing a composite mod on my Wizzard, but *really* didnt want to drill holes and I'm not a big fan of permanently connected cables. So I designed a new rear panel to take 3 RCA plugs as well as the standard DIN connector. At least this way it reversible and the original parts ...

It is like a "search picture" - so many nice Vintage Computers and who can find the dog? - sweet!
Thats whats just in frame :D

We're (hopefully) building a new shed (about twice as big) where half will be a dedicated clean(er) space for the collection and filming.

So when do we see it on your youTube channel? :-)
Doing any mods to it? Presumably at least the Composite mod?

Chesh
Probably not too far away. I'm currently working on a 2-part Osborne 1 video, then probably this.
Gonna be looking for some game suggestions :)

Lurch's Collection

Gday all,
Sorry for going quiet. My machine kinda came to a screaming halt when both controllers died.
However just arrived today, I picked up a whole other system, with *working* controllers and a small pile of games!
(Not that I really need them, given I have a multicart)
Happy days!

Being completely new to this, do many games *require* diagonals?

Re: Simple Atari-Style Joystick to Creativision adaptor

I'm using the Seeed Stuido Gerber viewer to have a look and I can see a couple of issues straight up. The DB9 is missing 2 different connections and you have pins 6 and 8 connected, whereas they need to go to different pins. Also the button is shorted, but that seems to be an issue in the original ...

Re: Simple Atari-Style Joystick to Creativision adaptor

Needing something to play with and had *never* done any PCB design before, I took your layout into Fritzing (it was recommended to me as a pcb design software for dummies) and came out with this (attached)
Would someone be able to take a look and lemme know if i'm even remotely close?

Re: G'day from Canberra

Thanks all.
@scouter3D - I saw your design for the controller adaptor. Given I have a (mostly) working KB, I might try and design something for that. (But Ill post in the other thread :) )
