It's KiCad7, so maybe the EasyEDA importer hasn't updated for the new version?

Re: Derivavision - a Creativision clone
I've made a "part one" blog post about the system and my clone progress so far. I just got the boards for the controller adapter, which I have to populate and program.

Re: Derivavision - a Creativision clone
Not much lately, I’ve been really busy, but I started mocking out the controller/keyboard adapter in KiCad. Hope to have something this month - it’ll be Pico-based with a PS/2 and SNES controller ports to start.

Re: Derivavision - a Creativision clone
I got a capture of the Sonic Invaders demo mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXS8kWi8RUY It looks surprisingly good. I did a slightly different version of the composite video output circuit than I have on my previous clones, and I think this is the best looking one yet (check out the detail on t...

Re: PCB what your experience
I think they are actually Dutch, so they're outsourcing to Germany to save a few bucks! They don't have as many options as JLCPCB but if you're local you can feel good about it. I've also used AllPCB in the past (also Chinese, but they have some unique options like pink solder mask and occasionally ...

Re: PCB what your experience
JLCPCB is probably the cheapest even for Europeans, but I've had luck ordering from Aisler (made in Germany) for not much more money.

Re: Derivavision - a Creativision clone
Here's a picture of the board, as promised. There's a single bodge wire on the underside that should be cleaned up on the next revision (I accidentally tied the TMS9918 MODE address pin to A14 instead of A0... a little off.) Not everything is populated at the moment because I'm waiting on the aforem...

Re: Derivavision - a Creativision clone
Great, Sorry for asking so much. But i am to lazy to check your diagram. You use one if the TMS RAM mods to not need these strange old ram and voltage? It is modified to use static RAM, yeah. You could find 5v 1-bit DRAM as well but I didn’t have any on hand when I started designing my ColecoVision...

Re: Derivavision - a Creativision clone
Yeah 👍👍 this is what i have waiting for. How much must one change to use the pal TMS? Cheers Mike Thanks! Not much has to change, although I haven’t tried it. It would be a new board - the TMS9928 (NTSC) and TMS9929 (PAL) outputs in YCbCr component colour instead of composite video like the TMS9918...

Derivavision - a Creativision clone
Hi again everyone, You might remember me from the introduction thread I made last month . This is going to be the project thread for my Creativision clone build, which I've chosen to call the "Derivavision." I will also be tracking the development in more (some would say too much) detail on the Lead...
