Right. I don't have many old computers, unfortunately, just a couple of Spectrums. Some models of MSX also used AC power adaptors if I remember correctly but these are rare and expensive as well. And such MSX models are not so hard to modify for 9 or 5v DC. I don't want to mod Creativision this way ...

Yeah, that doesn't sound nice and easy. I checked your site and hardly I will be able to do the same. If we talk about 2 ac-ac transformers, can you guys advise where to buy these? I checked AliExpress briefly and see that all transformers there do not hold enough current... maybe i don't understand...

The HK model is identical to the UK/Europe/PAL model. Even the wall plug is the same as the European one. As I said, I opened the 5-pin connector and it looks fine. As for the power brink itself, see my first photo - I'm not sure how to reach the wire ends going into the transformer. That is why I also see no easy way to check the continuity of the wires, unless I cut some insulation near the transforme...
