I tried to remove the regulators from the board. Same results....
But I suspect the lower voltage, for example - on a famicom, 0,5V lower voltage causes heavy graphical glitches.
Going to try different PSU.
Also thinking about different GND for power part and computer part...

Re: Power supplies
I checked the schematics and found out that it should work. But I think I have not enough Volts on 12V line, I measured it more precisely and it's showing only 11,3V. Will try something and report. -5V on RAMs is ok.

Re: Power supplies
Thanks for the schematics! I am familiar with PSU functioning ;) I have measured voltage inside CV on the regulators and it was ok, so I will study the schematics first. I do have an image, the TV recognizes AV input, and I have dark blue screen. With cartridge I get a small short white line in the ...

Re: Power supplies
Hello Thomas! Yes a schematic would be great, as I need to figure out where to put the input, because my original plan with powering the regulators' output pins doesn't work. Good thing is that a PC PSU has all three needed voltages (+5,-5,+12) and I don't have a tape extension. I soldered wires fro...

Re: Power supplies
Thanks for the answer, I will try something and post my results later. I will not remove anything, just solder two wires from PC PSU directly to output pins of 7805 and 7812.

Re: Power supplies
Has anyone tried to power the CreatiVision with something else than the mentioned power requirements? I mean inside of the machine, I think there is a simple diode bridge (or similar) to turn AC to DC and right after there are two DC voltage regulators 7805 and 7812, which produce 5V and 12V - both ...

Hello from JPx72
Hi! I am JPx72 and I am a collector of oldschool video-consoles! My homeland is Slovakia and I have stumbled upon this forum by searching a way to get some composite output for my CreatiVision MK-II, that found a way to my home from (if I understand it right) Scouter3d, a member here! This machine w...
