Re: New hardware coming soon...

Multicart with in-built menu? That would be really cool! I hope there will be also functionalities from the CSL cart, too :)
Looking very promising!

Re: HAPMON

I have never really understood what HAPMON is and where it comes from. "mon" I guess stands for monitor, but what else?
First time I heard of it, was with the ROM image included in the first release of funnymu emulator.

Hi,

could you please measure the voltage between the two left most pins (16, 16) that may be 16V AC...

Cheers, TOM:0)
I understood that he had tested pins 1-2 and 3-4 as DC but got zero on all. Is this correct?

Re: I think my Japanese PSU is bad?

Your PSU contains one AC-AC transformer with 2 outputs (or 2 distinct AC-AC transformers) and then a 'signal rectifier' that could be either made of diodes, or transistors that 'rectify' the AC into DC. With the 'rectifier' being faulty, I speculate that some of the signal passes as unrectified. I h...

Re: Hello from Japan

If you could post a photo of the power supply sticker, the one showing the diagram of the plug, that would help. And I believe it says 'DC' instead of 'AC'.

Re: Hello from Japan

Very welcome Seth!
Problem is the NTSC Japanese CreatiVision uses 110V DC power. The unit does not have the signal 'rectifiers' (diodes).
So if Seth has a NTSC-J model, our standard diagrams won't work.

Re: First Post for 2022

I plan to dump (or have someone help me doing it) the BIOS of the Colecovision/CreatiVision converter and share it with the community, and maybe write a MAME driver for it. Also, I still have plans to build an interface to make it useable on the CreatiVision MK2. And lastly I have plans to dump the ...
