Re: 16K Memory Expansion Module
I used a couple of 6268 4 bit 4K chips. Changed the 2114s to sockets so they could be replaced and ran 3 wires from pins 1,19 and 20 to A10, A11 and VCC. Not sure what it can be used for, maybe can get more basic program? I seem to remember it had a 100 line limit? What was the 16k expansion pack us...

Re: 4 Player Adapter
The CV uses a scanned keyboard approach to its mapping. It seems each controller uses 2 'source' pins and 8 'destination' pins, each character or joystick button is selected when 2or more of these are shorted. Has anyone generated a keyboard matrix for all the keyboard buttons? This can be done with...

Re: 16K Memory Expansion Module
Has anyone tried to upgrade the internal ram? Looks like it can address up to 4k easily enough.

Re: How to build a creatiVision power supply
Might not be a good idea to use 15v AC power into the 5v circuit - one of the rectifier caps is only rated to 16v - could cause some damage. Dual 5v and 12v DC switch modes are quite common and cheap with much better regulation better to use these and bypass the bridge rectifiers in circuit.

Re: Creativision VGA Output!
I used one of those cheap composite to vga adators from Dealextreme, looks great on my 20 inch Dell monitor. Only issue with these is their auto detect. They only seem to detect frame rate not subcarrier which means non standard formats such as PAL 60 or NTSC 50 are detected incorrectly resulting in...

G'day from Melbourne, Australia
G'day, I have benn collecting old consoles for decades and adapting them to my arcade machines. I am mainly interested in hardware such as av adaptors, joystick adators, multi cart ataptors etc.
I'll upload some schematics for these when I can.
Cheers.
