Re: How to build a creatiVision power supply
Your tape port diagram is different to my tape port plug. There's no connection on pins 4 and 5 and the tape remote is pin 3. Maybe all 3 pins are tape remote?

Re: How to build a creatiVision power supply
Here is a photo of another CV using a single regulated 12v supply and a DC-DC +-5 volt converter. Removed RF module, regulators and massive capacitors, changed -5 volt series resistor from 1k to 200 ohms. (also shows the Genesis-CV connector and a simple video buffer)

Re: Simple Atari-Style Joystick to Creativision adaptor
Here is a working Genesis game pad to CV adapter. It was a little more complex than I anticipated due to a few issues. There is a lag in the falling edge of the keyboard strobe that runs into the Joystick strobe (possibly due to the filter caps on the inputs of the model I am using). This would not ...

Re: Cartridge ROM mapping
Can you please provide a small "how to" get a BASIC Program in the right format / cartridgespace for this awesome design? There is no actual design - more a kind of organic cobbling together  I've attached the DIY manual and tools - but I will probably update the utility part over time, as I'm...

Re: Cartridge ROM mapping
OK - here's a little test utility. There are two styles in the zip, flat memory $4000->$C000 and romb $8000->$C000 + $4000-$8000. Hopefully the second one should give what you expect. Basically each 2K page has a valid program with the address to check in each. They should be inline, so $4000 == $4...

Re: Cartridge ROM mapping
ROM image creator. Knocked up in lunch break - so let me know if you hit any issues. I took the executive decision to fix the byte at $7223 for BASIC - saves writing and having a panic attack  Good luck! Thats Great! Works perfectly, now have all the roms working (including Chopper!). I like t...
