Re: WIP: Reversi

My starfield:

download/file.php?id=78

works perfectly in Mess when I tried it.
I use this version of mess (newest): http://www.progettosnaps.net/MESS/bin/p ... _148u4.rar
You also need the roms for creativision, I can send it via email if anyone want it.

Re: Next project

I know TBCTBC has made a vertical scroller, Photon for the Z80 computers Sord M5 and MSX but perhaps it isn't entirely trivial to rewrite the game engine in 6502 code so it'd be better to develop a new shooter. It should be possible, I will definitely try to port Photon II to CV when it is finished...

Re: Composite AV output planned!

Since that panel is removable, I will create a new one and save the original. I'm purist like that, don't want to drill new holes in the original :)

Re: TMS9918/9928/9929 programming

That's nice. Those graphics tools are useful I guess, but I have my own way for creating graphics. I first use Photoshop on a PC, then I have two small programs I've written in C under Linux to convert either to characters or sprites. I haven't made any full screen graphics conversion software, like...

Re: Composite AV output planned!

I saw you had posted the guide on the website.
I noticed a small typo, at one place you wrote "700139" instead of "700319".

Edit: The same typo on picture 2 for tutorial no 1.

TBC's collection

I tested my Creativision for the first time today.
It works, but not all keys on the controllers.
Here's what I've got:

Re: Composite AV output planned!

Too bad it isn't better than composite. One of these days I gotta try that. I got a bunch of different machines to try it on, Sord M5, a couple of MSX machines, TI99/4A, Creativision, Colecovision...
