No! To use stuff from other computer with the CV DONT make the CV to this computer. The Atari people use ALL from hard disk to USB, but not one people say "now we have a pc" I know people who drive Mercedes and i know people who drive BMW, with the same wheels. Strange! BMW will be BMW and Mercedes ...

yes, both keyboard are strange! I love my Vic keyboard. I will compare the matrix of both, maybe is possible to use a VIC keyboard without change to much.

the CV Basic has some other very strange stuff inside which take a lot time, like the REM command etc. To speed up this Basic is possible. today i have success with reading from the i/o interface parallel port. This is great because not all centronics from old days are bi-directional. The PIA 6821 yes, but some boards have wrong buffer and bi-directional is not possible then. On the CV we can use all 8 Data Pins as output or input, and...

i am finish now with the analyze of the I/O Interface. I have now the pinout for the big port.

I will Order One because Not Need a pc. In the Time we Start a Hardware Project to use the cv i/o Interface. We have here 2 Ports, One thanks to Tom we know the pinnout. The Dream is to use the cbm Hardware like the 1541 Floppy. The Protocol is so easy, have done a Lot with that. Send some commands ...
