Re: CSL Cart preview

I would include the emulator on the CVemu website "downloads" page with the next scheduled website update, if it's ok for you. Or I can just put a link to the SF page, if you prefer. A link to sf is best. This is because I do update it from time to time, and keep trying to improve it, so it's a con...

Re: Laser 2001 & Salora Manager - official thread

I´m happy if i can help, but i don´t have powersupplies for these Salora Manager and Floppydrive. (I see there is other user in Finland who have Manager, but floppydrive need powersupply too...) Having read up on the Apple FD100 (sounds similar eh?), the design of the original controller is, well, ...

Re: Emulation questions

One Armed Bandit correction.

Had GOT0 not GOTO.

As stated before, a CAS file is simply a bit dump by the emulator.

This means you can convert a CAS using SMBload utility to upload to a real machine.

Re: Emulation questions

There's an additional oddity. The "fflare3.bas" file included in your 7Z archive is 7,458 bytes long, whereas the one I get from the "cV Emulator" is 7,854 byte long. Any idea why? Sure, you're on windows. It outputs an extra CR when it sees LF, so line endings become CR/CR/LF. By update your minds...

Re: Emulation questions

Ok, I'll say this again. The program data was decoded and verified by BASIC83B The source was the mono channel wave from here. The creatiVision emulator loads EXACTLY the same way as a real CV. This means, that each bit has to be correct - or you will receive ERROR 00. In the case of BASIC83, that m...

Re: Emulation questions

While going through the posted listings for BASIC82/83, I noticed that Factory Flare-Up has a text file, warning Attention: listings are not 100% correctly converted! Well, my converter does it perfectly. I use the emulator, which in turn uses BASIC83 to decode and verify the data, by simulated CLOA...

I got it.
You and a few others it seems!

SF downloads for the week are over 180!

It seems there's some interest in the emulator after all!

Let's hope it transfers into interest in the CSL and all other things creativision.

Re: CSL Cart preview

Yes, trying to load a non existent file inside emulation will be a nightmare :D I suppose the polite exit is to just pass nulls until the user reboots the emulator. I'll have a think about handling CSAVEs later and most likely post an update. The andromeda listing has a PR1NT and a ZV transposed to ...
