Hi Mobsie,
I have ordered from PCbway and JLCPCB (and Cheshirenoirs Megacart from seeed :0)) and i like JLCPCB the best (No big differences, just small things in the handling i like more)
The only thing i like more on Pcbway are the "shared projects" to easily choose from...

Re: Replacement Joystick-handle 3D model / 3D print
Ok, so here is V2... The stick is made of 3 parts. Part 1 (the bottom-part) should be placed "upside down" and needs supports Part 2 (the top-part) should also be placed "upside down" no supports needed with this one Part 3 (the middle part) should be printed "standing upright" can also be replaced ...

Replacement Joystick-handle 3D model / 3D print
Hi, One of my CV´s came with a (very ugly) white replacement for the Joystick handle... here is my first go for a Joystick-handle replacement, the model works fine, but the 3D print process needs to be optimized, this is not yet the best print quality and the "supports" didn´t work as good as i hope...

Re: Cartridge ROM mapping
Attached is BASIC83B with the entire CVDEMO tape included, in both flat and AB images. Use CLOAD or CRUN to load from the now free ROM space. Enjoy! Hi @username@, i gave the cartimage a go on real hardware and it works like a charme! :0) PS: I tried the "flat" version. Can you please provide a sma...

Re: Cartridge ROM mapping
Here is a short "summup" of the cartridge-port address-signals, that can be used on both revisions... The MK II port has replaced a few signals, that where present on MK I with signals needed to allow for an external CPU... The MK II cartridgeport misses: PIN 17: A15 (replaced by /CSW) PIN 18: A14 (...

Re: Cartridge ROM mapping
Also cv mark 1 and 2 have different address lines so it's important to know if and how you can use the upper 16k on both. The upper 16k can be used on mark 1 and mark 2 without problems... (CSL and MegaSDCart work in both revisions) but i think there always needs to be the 2k BIOS (either the origi...

Re: Cartridge ROM mapping
With new (homebrew) games we can do whatever we want, even 32K games. With some tweaks (to be confirmed though) I believe one can make a 48K game using the usual middle 32K (4000-7FFF + 8000-BFFF) plus the upper 16K C000-FFFF bank. Part of it (F800-FFFF) is the 2K BIOS, but there is a way to "disab...

Re: Cartridge ROM mapping
Hi, and here are some real-hardware-test-results... I used the original Multicart and one of my Everycarts (based on the CSL PCB) The Multicart uses the "swapped" ROMs, the Everycart uses "flat" addresses... And the results were as expected: First the Multicart with the fitting "memcromb.bin": 20230...
