Hi,

Update on the MSXRGB mod:
With shielded cables i got a slightly better looking picture but there are still "stripes" in the Green channel and the colors are not so brilliant (especially red and yellow)
but: picture becomes better and better and i will try more refinements...

Hi,

Success!

The MSXRGB Mod looks (nearly) great and definitive better than composite (i removed 2 100ohm resistors from the R and B channel, but left the one in the G channel...)
The picture is still a bit noisy, but the colors (especially Yellow and Red) now look good! and the picture is sharp!

see attached pics...

Since that panel is removable, I will create a new one and save the original. I'm purist like that, don't want to drill new holes in the original :)

Hi,
yes i don`t like too, i only do it because i have a LOT CV case`s.
With my other Console like ColecoVison or my great VC-20 i never destroy original case.
I am finish with the MOD and the picture is a lot better than before(of course).
I test only with my old commodore Monitor, tomorrow i will test with different TV.

The picture i made is very bad i see now, Sorry

Did you use an additional panel, to replace the original one?

Is the picture clear and bright? Are you satisfied of the work?
