Does anyone have a recording of a creativision tape they could put online?
I'd like to try and iron out the tape save/load thing finally.
Thanks

Thanks mobsie - but unfortunately it's for the Laser 2001. Neither I or CVTAPE1 can make anything from it :\

However - thanks to you - I notice a lot of the tapes below have wavs - magic!

Yes, the audio format used by Creativision Basic and the audio format used by Laser 2001 / Salora Manager are two completely different ones. If I recall correctly, the Laser 2001 doesn't remap the Creativision keyboard onto its own, so programs like Basic, Music Maker etc are not really usable on the computer models.

Good work with the emulator, one of those days I'll download a snapshot and have a closer look at how it works.

I'm back to Italy at last!

I will manage to host the new wonderful emulator and utilities on the CreatiVEmu main website.

I have a request to the author: would you consider the idea of changing the name of your emulator? "Creativision emulator" doesn't sound cool. Also there's other emulators with similar name: "Creativemu" and "CvEmu2". ;)

It's not supposed to. It's a utility. When you need to format a disk, do you look for the SexySquirrel or Format option?

Again, what would you google to find a creativision emulator? SpaceChicken? - no logically, you'd google "creativision emulator". Perhaps ask the other authors to change theirs?
