@mobsie Here's joystick 0 only. If we can make it work ok, then I can easily add joystick 1.

Peek-a-boo! :)

Just wanted to tell you that I'm following this thread and I'm truly happy because of these great progresses in CV emulation!

Sadly I'm abroad now, and I can do nothing else but reading and enjoying the new findings. Hopefully I'll have some time to spend on contributing this thread by the end of November.

Keep up the great work! :D

AMAZING !
On my WIN7 VirtualBox System my USB to ATARI Adapter don`t work. So i test on a real PC.
The Joystick WORK :D Thats Amazing great.
The only problem is when i push up the the player move down and when i push down the player move up. I test only with one program at the moment, tomorrow more.
And i use a old Atari Joystick so i have only ONE Button, will check tomorrow if i found one with 2 Button`s.
Thank you for your work.

Oh well - at least it works half the time :)

Here's one with up/down inverted, and F7 / F8 for snapshot save / load.

Cool, the F7 / F8 works perfect. :o Nice option. The joystick i test today and come back.
One nice option will be a "PAUSE" function with some "F" key. We can use the VDP dump also, but real pause would be great.
I hope you like my ideas  , i don`t want push you. :D

all work perfect!
The pause is great. Movement is now correct, also diagonal works.
Tomorrow i test with a 2 Button joypad.
Thanks

Thanks. Glad joystick 1 is working. Once we know if button 2 is ok, I think we'll have milestone 2.

Update: I thought, let's put back the bitmap capture too. Wow - what a mistake that was :)
MinGW 4.7.x series has a bit of an issue with packed attributes. Now solved - updated to 4.8.1.
As we use streaming textures, SDL_SaveBMP is useless too!
F5 saves 16 colour bmp as 001,002 etc.

Hi, this is a nice option. We have soon no "F" key left if you go so fast.
