Yes, there is a discussion thread on AtariAge where the 2600 dump of Stone Age was back-ported to NTSC. Apparently it used a driver with too few scanlines from the beginning so it would not display properly.

In the first thread, you can see an advertisment for four 2600 games: Nuts, Save our Ship, Pharaoh's Curse and Locomotive. In the latter thread, you can see the instruction leaflet for Pharaoh's Curse by TechnoVision/VTech. The layout very much resembles the CreatiVision games, and almost wants me to put those titles as possible vaporware for the CreatiVision as well, although perhaps that is stretching it too much that all 2600 games developed or sold through VTech's daughter company would origin from their own console.

Carlsson: the information you provided is incredible!!!

For your info, on a late issue of the Italian magazine, "Video Giochi", there's an article mentioning forthcoming games for the CreatiVision, including Pharaoh's Curse!!!

Other mentioned games are Othello (you knew that already!) and Barbarian: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu ... .php?id=13

About "Barbarian": an article on the following issue (01/1984) speaks of Stone Age referring it as "previously announced as Barbarian": http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu ... .php?id=14

About my "shipper boxes". They were definitely manufactured for Technovision games: I found pictures of Technovision games on the Atariage forum, and they appear to have the same size as the CreatiVision game boxes. My opinion is that shipper boxes were made for Technovision games, but they could also fit CreatiVision games.

Yes, when it comes to the size of boxes, I find that most Atari 2600, Atari 8-bit, CreatiVision, MSX and probably another handful systems have almost identically sized boxes. The IntelliVision ones tend to a bit taller, not sure about the size of ColecoVision boxes. Of course it never was as standardized as today's DVD cases, but it makes perfect sense for VTech to use the same size of boxes for all systems they produced games, in particular if other manufacturers of games for the other systems anyhow already used the same size too.
