Cart for Homebrews...

Talk about programming CreatiVision (except games programming). Projects of homebrew hardware are also welcome.

I think it would be possible to use my design also to read from serialport (via USB Adapter) and write to sram... instead of read from SDCard => SRAM
maybe i could use "copy cart.bin com3: /b" or so...

The ATmega with build in USB Funktion Looks nice!
How will it be accessed on the PC-side? Would you Need a Special Software/Driver?

Yeah, I guess you would need some special software, though I can't imagine it being that difficult. There's probably some examples out there.

Hi TOM,
can you give some update on the project?
Only to know that you are thinking/working on it.
Thanks

Hi,

After a very demanding time, i will start working on the cart next week, in the meantime i dabbled in the Atmega code, so maybe now i can read from SD / write to RAM and read back from RAM? will check next week...

Greetings TOM:-)

It could be fantastic to have a SD card cartridge based :)
I am sure it will push the homebrew development!
