@Pikkey: I'm glad to read that the carts and ROMs have been tested and they're working fine!

Please do your best to complete the job by the end of September. :)

I have got my pre-release version of the cartridge today.

I have just tested it and WOW it works great!

Thanks much! Can't wait to get the final version with full colours manual. :-)

Hi Pikkey.
Have you thought of a release date on this cart yet, please?

First batch of cards are assembled and tested. What is still missing is the packaging. Boxes are on the way, manual is almost ready.
But I want to have the Multirom close in its box and ready to ship, before to accept any payment. (I have to calculate the final price)
I suppose pre-orders will start the next week. Shippings a bit later.
Unfortunately I have another job who steal me a lot of time. I'll doing my best, but this is just a passion. Please be patient. :)

No , there is no plastic shell. Too few product boards to think about a (cheap) shell.

With a different PCB design, you might've got away with a C64 cartridge shell. I have checked and measured, and believe those might work if the screw hole in the PCB is in the right place. C64 shells can be had really cheap from Poland, and reasonably inexpensive from other sites.

@Carlsson: this PCB can't fit any shell at all, because the EPROM is on the *top* side, as opposed to commercial CV cartridges, having the EPROM on the *bottom* side.
The EPROM comes to touch the CV "wooden" panel.
