adaptor for Colecovision

Talk about programming CreatiVision (except games programming). Projects of homebrew hardware are also welcome.

Hi,

i have no clue if it would be possible at all (as i do not know the Colecovision that well)

But what i do know: The "Adaptor" would need to be nearly a complete Creativision incl. Original Controllers
Like the Atari 2600 adaptor only uses the Powersupply and the HF-modulator of the Colecovision

At least you'd be able to reuse the TMS Video chip if you can HALT the Z80 I guess.
One less component.

The Colecovision adaptor for CreatiVision/Laser 2001 is basically a complete Colecovision except the VDP.
It has its own RAM, SND and of course the Z80 cpu. Plus a sort of PIA to manage the different input. The only CreatiVision part used is the VDP.
I assume if the same was to do in reverse, it would basically be the same, problem being the RAM and SND mapped in different location in the 2 systems, and the PIA.
