Thanks for that Tom. I'll give that a try.

The port expander doesn't work. The connection lugs had been sheared off by the previous owner, presumably to connect to the Rameses. I replaced them, but only get a white screen with it plugged in.

More investigation will be required.

Scratch that, after a clean and a replacement of the LED the port expander DOES now work...
