Carlsson's creatiVision / Laser 2001 collection

Post by carlsson » Thu Jun 19, 2008 5:26 pm

Since I acquired my creatiVision as late as April this year, I yet have a rather small collection. All but the Multicart were bought through Videopac.

Systems
creatiVision base system (boxed w/ Swedish instructions)

Laser 2001 home computer (boxed w/o instructions)

Cartridges
Air/Sea Attack (boxed w/ Swedish instructions)
Astro Pinball (loose)
Auto Chase (loose)
Crazy Chicky (boxed w/ Swedish instructions)
Deep Sea Attack (loose)
Police Jump (boxed w/ Swedish instructions)
Sonic Invader (boxed w/ Swedish instructions)
Tank Attack (loose)
Multicart (boxed)

Some of the loose cartridges have overlays, but I can't remember which.

Tapes
Sonic Invader (Laser 2001 edition, not loadable on creatiVision)

Honestly, I haven't even powered on my creatiVision since I bought it, but I suppose it will work fine. Perhaps I should play a few games on it in the weekend?

I really love your collection! I'm really fond on Swedish editions of games ^_^

Please notice my trades/sales list on the other forum, maybe you'll want to trade something with me :)

I did a bit of cleaning up today, and rebuilt my book shelf. Previously all my retro games were stored in drawers, but I've gotten so many big boxes lately that I'd rather put them back in the shelf. So, this is the result:

In the middle of the shelf, you see my four boxed creatiVision cartridges + the Multicart box. An interesting note is that these cases are exactly the same size as the early Konami MSX games, but then again I think boxed Intellivision, Colecovision and perhaps even Atari 2600 games all have the same box size? The Commodore ones (not pictured) are slightly larger, while the Atari computer ones are of the same dimensions.

Today I added a loose creatiVision tape recorder - it even is Swedish sold! The seller had a few surplus ones. I tried to buy a Moving Keyboard too, but he wouldn't sell. :D

I haven't tried the tape recorder yet, but hope it'll work. I suppose I should do some maintainance to the controllers in the same session.

is it boxed and has Swedish box and instructions manual? if so, i'm really in need of pics and scans of it! :)

PS: I'm also re-scanning most manuals and boxes of mine, attempting to add high-res versions to my website. Do you have some spare time to re-scan the manuals you own? I'll contact you via email in the near future :)

PPS: has seller more creativision items to sell? I'm interested in getting a boxed tape unit.

No, both tape recorders are loose. The MK is boxed though, but I don't know from which region. The seller only sold one to me because we're friends and he had a surplus recorder. All the other items he only has one each of so he'd keep those.

Sure, if you give me some new guidelines about scanning I can redo mine. Good thing that I bought them all from Videopac so the manuals and some boxes are in the same place.

By the way, the Swedish model/catalogue number for the tape recorder is 80-0230 compared with the base unit which is 80-0233 as you already have listed on the main site.

Hello,

where is the catalogue number printed? What made you understand that the tape recorder is "Swedish sold" ?

PS: thanks for the precious info about catalogue number! I'm currently very busy with job, but will soon get back to you and discuss about scans, pictures, etc. Thanks :)
