Chesh's (surprise) collection.
I didn't actually ever expect to have a "collection" of Creativision stuff but...
Today I went to a cleanup for a local group and there were a LOT of old systems "up for grabs".
Among the things I managed to get was a CreatiVision and a Ramses, as well as a tape drive, some cartridges, the "upgraded" keyboard, several controllers and an interface expander.
No power supplies, so I'll need to see what I can work out
Now I have more targets for the controller project

Wow what a find!
But wait wait wait wait! How about that cassette deck?????
Is it Funvision or Rameses???
If it's Rameses this is the FIRST time I see it!
I do own the original instructions manual (on sale if you need it) but never actually saw the real deck.
Would you like to contribute by taking nice pics that I would then add to the CreatiVEmu online database???

Ooh! Yeah, it's a Ramases. I'll get some high res photos up and share them with you.

Wohoooo!!!
I would love to get photos from top, bottom and angles (perspective). Also a close-up of the sticker at bottom and serial number!
Thanks!
One more piece goes into the puzzle

Whops - sorry disregard previous messages.
I realised I do have photos of the deck and they are online!
The photos I am after are those of the box
Great finding by the way!

Re: Chesh's (surprise) collection.
Ok using the PSU from my Wizzard, I was able to test the CreatiVision and the Rameses.
Unfortunately the CreatiVision is black screening. The Rameses seems to work fine, and I'll probably mod it for Composite.
The controllers from both... mostly work? I say mostly because both have several keys that don't work. No real surprises there
The enhanced Keyboard seems to be a bit nasty, so I'll probably need to disassemble and clean. I'm also, obviously, missing a key.
The cassette deck works fine.

Hi Chesh,
i "painted" my enhanced keyboard graphite contacts on the rubbermat with silver conductive paint, now it works like a charm :0)
but i heard soft graphite pencil also works good - i once planned to coat the contacts with gold-foil, but never did it...
Cheers, TOM:0)
