Hi mobsie,

Gratulations on the IO Interface! It really adds the Feeling of "gravity" and "importance" to the Creativision i think ...

Yesterday i got my Salora Manager with the "one key missing" from Luca. The condition is great and i am happy with it, i am not a hardcore collector so the missing key is no problem for me. Someday i got the key or make my self :D
I hope to get today the CreatiVision from Austria then i have 5 in perfect condition plus my CV-borad i use to develop.

Is here someone who has a scan from the Salora Manager Basic manual? And i search the mod to use normal Atari Joystick, but only when this is an outside mod like an adapter. I don`t want to mod the Manager itself.

I have the manual. Sadly it's in Finnish. I'll send it to you via email now :-)

I still haven't understood why the Manager won't take regular Atari style joysticks as it is. Perhaps my 2001 doesn't as well, just that I never checked if it would?

See also the "official" Laser 2001 & Salora Manager thread, in which I previously ran an automatic translation on the Finnish manual to get the most juicy parts out of it:
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=36

I also checked the German Laser 2001 manual and found that it contains other (less) stuff than the Manager manual does, so the two can't be direct translations from an English (still missing) 2001 manual. Whether it was the Germans who left out a lot of boring technical stuff (quite unlikely, as Germans themselves tend to love technical stuff) or the Finns who invested quite some time to analyze and document the computer before selling it is hard to tell. I haven't checked any other VTech computer manuals so I know how much detail they usually put in, the ones for Creativision doesn't have to get into techincal details so much as it is only a video game console.
