I've started looking at doing a composite mod on my Wizzard, but *really* didnt want to drill holes and I'm not a big fan of permanently connected cables.
So I designed a new rear panel to take 3 RCA plugs as well as the standard DIN connector. At least this way it reversible and the original parts can be packed away (or in my case, probably lost )
Happy to do another ver (if there is interest) that uses a 3.5mm TRS or TRRS socket.
EDIT: already did it

Hi, this is so cool!
I will print one for my console too... Thanks for sharing!
What kind of composite mod will you use? (simply grab the signals before the modulator or use a transistor or...)
Cheers, TOM:0)
PS: I got the best picture with the MSX RGB Mod - Someday i would love to see a Creativision with the F18 replacement installed :0)

Not 100% sure. The details on the site seems a little vague and are dependant on what ver mainboard I have (at least thats how i read it?)Scouter3d wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 7:51 amHi, this is so cool!

Re: Replacement rear panel for AV mod
I only ever did a quick and dirty one, where i simply picked the signals from the modulator (and the MSX RGB Mod)

Printed mine.
It'll need some paint and primer but it looks good. Chesh

Hi,
looks great! I am still happy with the simple AV mod i did years ago. The picture quality is very good.

Re: Replacement rear panel for AV mod
Mine is currently using a simple composite out with a 1 transistor amplifier and works well enough.
Mind you, tempted by the RGB mod...
