"Wizzard" (C) VTech Ltd., Dick Smith Electronics "Rameses" (C) VTech Ltd., Hanimex Industries REQUIREMENTS and INSTALLATION ----------------------------- You need a PC with any 32-bit version of Windows (95 or above) Simply unzip all files to any folder using full pathnames (right-click on the archive icon and select the "extract to folder ..." option) FunnyMu emulator, ROMs and BIOS folders should be located in the same folder as CreatiVe-UI. You could either change paths from within the program. Suitable structure is: BIOS/ (folder with required CreatiVision/Funvision BIOSes) ROMS/ (folder with game ROMs with *.bin extension) CreatiVe.exe (this program) CreatiVe.ini (configuration file) FunnyMu.exe (FunnyMu emulator) FunnyMu.ini (FunnyMu configuration file) USAGE ----- * Execute application. The "ROMS" subfolder is scanned and all items with "*.bin" extension are marked as "ROMs". * CRC32 is calculated for each found "*.bin" file, and a list of recognized games displays with full infos, pictures, etc. * Configure CreatiVe-UI ROMs folder and FunnyMu emulator location * Configure FunnyMu emulator's search path for ROMs and BIOSes, then select which BIOS you prefer. Two are available: - normal BIOS with "CreatiVision" boot logo to emulate the "CreatiVision" and "Dick Smith Wizzard" modes - later BIOS (no hacking) to emulate the "Funvision" and "Rameses" modes * Double click on any game name, or press "enter" to execute the selected game with FunnyMu emulator THANKS TO --------- Nicola Lugato (for useful hints)
