You can also take some inspiration from the BBC micro, that also used a 6502A and SN76489: http://bbcmicro.co.uk/index.php?search=Q%2ABert&on_S=on

old-computers.com GONE?
The site old-computers.com seems to be gone since january 6th, first it seemed it was gonna load a FBI seized site page, but now it just does nothing at all. While I was writing this just found out it was hacked and all files removed: https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/what-happened-to-old-co...

Re: Hello from El Salvador!
Hope we find one, seems to be NABU-before-the-warehouse-find levels of unobtanium.
Let's just hope someone have had dozens of them for decades stored in a barn.
Also, even the books are unobtanium, found the image on a Blogger post on lost media(which itself is lost media now...)

Re: A possible origin of the CreatiVision system
My (totally unsourced) suspicion would be Texas Instruments made reference system board designs for connecting the VDP and PSG to several microprocessors(6502, Z80, TMS99xx series, maybe even 680x) and sold them around to sell those components, maybe there were resellers and that's how the Creativis...

Re: The Creativision RGB mod
That was exactly the link I was looking for, it seems my Google-fu has gone really rusty(just found it on DucDuckGo as first result when searching TMS9929 RGB) As the side expansion port(forgot the name) exposes the YPBPr-like signal, it may be a good idea for a side expansion mod without soldering ...

The Creativision RGB mod
The TMS9928/9929 has a YPBPr video output, this can be converted into RGB, I link a circuitry for that I found online a while ago(cannot find the link so I leave the schematic so it can be for as a mod): https://imgur.com/a/Up0Kvdv

Yes, we're US Plug NTSC, and if you wonder how a "Creativision but with genlock and more RAM on TV graphics" looks like so here it is: https://youtu.be/cEgWhkJ6re8?t=63 (forgive these guys' Argentinan-VHS-logo skillset, it was the very early 80s and was a shoestring budget station, they got better o...
