Hi,

The Audio Input Pin simply gets an Audiosignal form the Cartridgepin and puts it to the TV Speaker / Video out...
Nothing can be done (in the CV) with this Signal... Also this is only an Input i think? (but i may be wrong as it may be mixed with the CV Sound,- after looking in the schematic - now i think it actually is mixed, but would be a bit less in volume because of going thru 2 "3K3" resistors...) must test with a game...

Yeah, you're right, I was think about connecting a cable from the CV to the cart, but it hasn't got any sound out port right, only RF?
It would also be mixed with the original sound too.
But a SID-chip of something would be really cool inside a cart. The SID has it's own filters of course, but a computer controlled moog filter would still be really cool to add
The moog filter is running on +10/-10 volts though, but that could maybe be changed.

stay tuned, i work on my super i/o interface. I am on the schematic in eagle at the moment and on the board some is running. Thanks to endless nights and Tom are now have fun with eagle.
The interface will have:

- One 6821 Pia at $e800 like the original i/o interface. But i use both ports, one for the i/o stuff and one for 2 Atari style joystick ports.
- One 10k Ram at $c000 for use with the new Basic or the standard CV-Basic. And of course for some nice games which need fast ram for map`s etc.
- One 6851 SID! at $f000. Yes! And here also use of the 2 Pot for paddles. The ASM Sid player for the CV is finish, he is waiting for the chip now.

Doesn't the SID support light pen as well? Wow, imagine what fun games we can get on our old 50 Hz CRTs!

There are different versions of SID too, so it would be good if your board could support both 6581 and 8580 (or SwinSID).

Yes the use of 8580 are no problem, the 9V vs. 12V is no problem form most DCDC-Converter. For me i will use the 6581 because i have still a lot. And "many SID musicians prefer the flawed 6581 chip over the corrected 8580 chip. The main reason for this is that the filter produces strong distortion that is sometimes used to produce simulation of instruments such as a distorted electric guitar"
