Help: CreatiVision not working after cartridge polarity reversal

Hello everyone. Due to a series of lapses in attention, I inserted the multiROM cartridge into the CreatiVision the wrong way around . Of course, now there’s a problem! Has anyone had similar experiences? So far, I’ve found the 7805 burned out. There’s a short circuit on the GND line of the 7805, where a capacitor is connected (but when removed from the board, it tests as good).

Hi Maxciava, as there are different versions of the Creativision Motherboard can you please post a good picture od yours...
Different Versions also have a different pinout of the cartridge port... and a slightly different psu section
