It lives! Ha! Ha! Haaaaa! (Manic Laughter ;0))
PCB worked at first try! will do more testing!
Happy as a weird scientist can be after a brain transplantation ;0)

Re: CSL Cart...
Absolutely GORGEOUS!!
Out of curiosity, what's the jumper for?
Also, do you plan to release it fully socketed?

Re: CSL Cart...
YES!

Re: CSL Cart...
If you plan to release it with sockets, please consider using extra-thin sockets. In no such case, the hight of socket + EPROM will make the total width excessive and it won't fit the "wooden panels".
Re: CSL Cart...
Thanks!
The Jumper has 2 Features ;0)
first: you could choose 2 different ROM Versions with it (for possible future additions ;0))
second: it provides a +5V Pin, to power a CV=>USB or CV=>Bluetooth Hardware, as the Cassetteport only provides +9V... (this will require a "patchcable")
I do not think i will socket the components on the final release (except for really eager developers ;0)) because without sockets the board will even fit into a Standard Cartridgecasing (you can even drill holes in it to see the LED and Access the Jumper... if you want)

So the bluetooth interface is not included?

Have you ever tried the super-slim sockets?

Does that fit in the standard game cartridge?

Re: CSL Cart...
Hi,
I have not decided what will go into the final package...
As the CSL Audio Interface, the USB Option and the Bluetooth Option are all to be connected to the tapeport...
Not every user will Need / want all Options... so i might just sell the CSL Cart and (optional) the Audio Interface and leave the USB or Bluetooth Option to the user (there are many devices out there, which cost less than €10.- (i bought 5 Bluetooth Adapters for €35.-)...
Or maybe i pack a few "Platinum packages" where USB or Bluetooth are also included (i would hate sitting on a heap of These Adapters...) ;0)
But nothing is decided yet and the next Phase is a "fieldtest" for the final CART and then off to designing the package, writing a Manual... still got a lot to do ;0)

Hi,
The CSL Cart Audio Interface PCB has arrived today...
Waits to be populated, soldered together and tested. ;0)

Re: CSL Cart...
Will you sell it in boxed version?
I sign for one, # 1 signed by the author, obviously!
