Alternative solution for disk imaging (MAYBE) AppleSauce

I am an Apple II collector as well as Dick Smith Wizard. I recently say the post regarding imaging of Salora discs. Given that they are Apple II format (almost) I thought this solution might work. It is actively developed, support and has a pretty big user community.
