my name is Chris (in reality the German version "Christian") and I'm living near Munich. Born in 1967, my first exposure to computers was around 1983 when I attended a high school course about programming (BASIC on the CBM computers). One year before I had realized the benefits of programming in high school when we learned how to manually calculate the square root of a number. In the test I used my father's programmable calculator (TI-59) to solve this part of the test. Was a breeze...

My first computer was an Atari 600XL (~ 1984) and then one year later a C64 (since all friends had a C64 and I wanted to copy their games

I've learned 6502 assembly language with it and liked it very much. Not many finished programs came out of that time period, though.
I think 1986 or so a PC compatible arrived at our house (my father's, but he never used it), so I learned 8086 assembly.
Since 1990 I'm working as a software developer.
I arrived at this forum since I'm currently trying to integrate Creativison support to cc65 (http://cc65.github.io/cc65/). My current work there is available at https://github.com/cc65/cc65/pull/374, with most parts coming from an old pull request by "cvemu" (https://github.com/cc65/cc65/pull/63).
Btw., "cvemu" if you're reading this, please tell me (maybe in PM) how to proper give credit to you in the cc65 files.
I don't have real CV hardware. But I'd like to have one. Is it possible to acquire one for 100€ or less?
best regards,
chris
