Saying hi to all enthusiasts of the beloved Creativision!
Original got one as a child. It was my first owned computer/console. Over the years I had it, before getting a Sinclair Spectrum, I had the cassette tape unit, the parallel/serial interface, and upgraded keyboard. I think my Mum purchased it from the Coburg Dick Smith store, but possibly Richmond. I think it was on special for $246 dollar at the time with one free game.
I have great memories of the system and learnt hexadecimal from the clear and well made Basic Manual.
I think the system broke down after I started experimenting with the electronics and ending up not working, and getting disposed of.
I think I only had it for three years calculating its release date and when I got the Spectrum. It seemed like 6 years, though.
Anyway It's great to see the history of the machine! Thanking hosts!

Definitely. I had a pen-base plotter that printed fairly quickly on say 120mm wide paper scroll. Not sure of the printer brand and name, but it did pretty well for price. I used to print envelope paste on's, to letters, and code prints. I loved the machine,
