Talk about programming CreatiVision (except games programming). Projects of homebrew hardware are also welcome.

Oh yes!!!! you are absolutely right ;0)))
My Salora Manager sadly broke down yesterday and now i am "wrangling" with these nice "crosssolderd" patchwires, "folded" PCBs and unsocketed parts ... Arghhhh!

Hi,
I managed to repair the Manager :0)
After two days of tinkering i finally found a broken resistor... (naturally after i replaced all RAM and had to unsolder the second PCB...)
Now i am happy again ;0)

@Tom: did you find the SM hardware somehow different to the L2001 one?
I mean: same PCB revision, same components, etc.? And how about the manufacturing date printed on the BIOS chips?
I never wanted to unsolder the metal plate on my SM, so I've always been guessing "what's inside". If your units are still open, would you send me pics of the internals?

@Madrigal,
Hi, yes, i have taken highres Pictures of the LASER 2001 and the Salora Manager PCBs...
But can only upload "small" Pictures in this Forum, so i will upload them to my Webpage and publish the link, so everybody can Access them...
I also worked out the pinouts of each port, so i will include this info to... for all the techies out there (and for everyone who might want to build some Hardware for the Laser/Salora...)

That's great
I keep on delaying the completion of the "Revisions/Models" page on the CreatiVEmu website. I have stored pics of all the CV PCB's I had in my hands, but none of the L2001 or SM.

I will publish the pics of each PCB model, but I still have to set up the page and it takes some time - which I haven't atm.
Atm I'm storing the pics on my PC.

Hi,
The CSL Cart is stable and working very fine!
But we are still beta-testing it a lot!
Before we go into production, we also want to explore a few possibilities (i.e. a much faster and easier / More modern way of loading than from Soundcard... so be prepared to be amazed! ;0))
Stay tuned! ;0)
