Hi everyone!
I came across this forum while doing some 3D printing searches, but I'm also an avid tech enthusiast and gamer.
My first experience with computer games was on an Atari 130XE with an add-on cassette player back in the mid-1980s. Loading a game from tape felt like pure wizardry to me—it was excruciating and exciting in equal measure. We did have some cartridge games that fired up instantly, but they were no match for the big cassette tape games.
Anyway, the point is that I love games—retro, modern, and everything in between—as well as general tech and related hobbies.
I'm glad to be here, and I'm looking forward to reading your posts and getting to know the community.

Do you prefer to play with original hardware, recreations, FPGA recreations or emulators?
While I love having the physicality of real hardware, the convenience of FPGAs and Emulators is hard to knock. On the other hand I do enjoy building a good recreation.
