I just came to know (thanks, Paul Kuhnast from Adelaide...) that mr. Smith is now producing pure Australian food products, and the revenues go to charity.
The website is very cool, there's a "Dick-i-pedia", a few promotional videos in pure Dick Smith's eclectic style, and omg... he's fighting against Kraft about the rights on the most popular Australian sauce/jam, the "Vegemite". His one is named "ozEmite".
There's even a blog which he uses to spread the word on the importance of Australian grown food.
