So I got my first ever Dick Smith Wizzard tape - Bowling. Loading it up for the first time Its one of the coolest loading things I've seen. The green text, code displaying on screen as it loads and the sound is just like something I would expect to see in a movie from the 70s.
Does anyone is think this is especially cool or am I on my own with this?

Re: Tape loading joy
No, is really cool!
Re: Tape loading joy
I love the "demo tape" as it plays audiorecordings over one channel, while it loads the programs over the other! really cool Idea!

Re: Tape loading joy
Well not only the Demo Tape plays music and speech on the secondary audio channel. All the commercial tapes by VTech have that feature. I love it!
Unfortunately the games released by Dick Smith Electronics in the Australian market (Bowling, Combination, etc.) do not have such feature.
All tape recordings are available here: https://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu ... .php#tape1 - and they include the music/speech part, too
